Dehara is the Executive Director of the Black Coaches and Administrator Association of British Columbia (BCA). She is a former member of the South African National Women’s Soccer team and played professionally with Newcastle United FC (UK), Northampton FC Laurels (WPSL, USA).

Dehara is the founder of Vancouver based SHE PLAYS Soccer Academy. She has been involved in soccer as a coach and administrator for over ten years. She is engaged in a number of community based initiatives including sitting on the Diversity in Coaching Committee at ViaSport BC and is also the Secretary of Anti-Racism Coalition Vancouver (ARC).

Dehara brings a wealth of sporting and organizational knowledge to the BCA. She has been appointed by her peers to lead BCA because of her commitment in advancing the growth and development of black coaches and administrators at all levels of sports in British Columbia.
